The 2214 Rabastor Unity Trophy was the thirty-eight edition of the Rabastor Unity Trophy, the biennial friendly international football tournament held in Callistea to promote good diplomatic relations between nations. As is typical for the tournament, matches were played in three cities within Callistea. The tournament began on 30 July 2214 (Osarian calendar) and finished on 7 August. Aquillian emerged victorious, finishing two points ahead of favourites Osarius.

Invited teams

The Callistean Ministry for Sport sent invites to the four other nations affected by the Urania Agreement, all of whom hold seats on the Council of Rabastor. All four associations accepted, and the line-up was finalised on 28 June.

The idea of inviting additional nations was floated, but the Callistean Ministry for Sport declined the option, believing that the logistic implications would be too strenuous on the nation's infrastructure. Plans have been shelved for the time being, and it has since been suggested that the fortieth edition of the tournament, in 2220, might see the proposed expansion come to fruition.

Squads

See: Rabastor Unity Trophy 2214 squads

Each team's squad for the 2214 Rabastor Unity Trophy consisted of 23 players (three of whom must be goalkeepers). Each participating national association was required to confirm its final 23-player squad no later than 3 working days before the start of the tournament. Replacement of seriously injured players was permitted until the listed kickoff time of the team in question's first World Cup game.

Osarius, who had taken to sending an under age team since the late 2190s, opted to send an under 23s team again. Senior national team manager Jermain Lewis did not take charge of the team either, instead this responsibility was delegated to Jayson Dhanda, marking the first time the Osarius national team manager did not lead the team at the Rabastor Unity Trophy.

Match officials

A total of 3 referees, 3 support referees, and 12 assistant referees were selected for the tournament, all of whom were Callistean.

Draw

The draw was held on 1 July 2214 at 12:00 local time at the Royal Court of Callistea in Paphos, Callistea. There was no seeding of teams based on rank, but instead, teams were assigned an entry number. These entry numbers were used to configure the order of play in the tournament.
