The '''49th AOCAF Championship''', commonly referred to as '''AOCAF Cup 49''' or simply '''AOCAF 49''', was the 49th edition of the [[Atlantian Oceania Confederation of Association Football Cup|AOCAF Cup]], the international [[wikipedia:association football|football]] championship of [[Atlantian Oceania]] organized by [[AOCAF]]. [[Audioslavia]] was chosen as the host nation on after presenting an unopposed bid, which was endorsed by four confederation members with no votes to re-open bidding. The thirty entrants were seeded into five pots of six teams, and then drawn into six groups of five teams. To ensure balanced numbers between pots, one of the seven unranked nations entering the tournament was randomly selected to be placed into pot four. As the title holders, Farfadillis were seeded in Pot 1, as were the hosts Audioslavia. The other twenty-eight teams were seeded according to their [[AOCAF Ranking]], updated after the completion of [[World Cup 73]].

==Finals format==
To accommodate the expansion from a 16 team finals tournament to 24 teams, the format will be changed from that used in 2012 with the addition of two extra groups in the group stage, and an extra round in the knockout stages. The six groups (A to F) would still contain four teams each, with the top two from each group still going through to the knockout stage. This format generates a total of 51 games, compared with 31 games for the previous 16-team tournament, to be played over a period of 31 days. Each national team has to submit a squad of 23 players, three of whom must be goalkeepers, at least ten days before the opening match of the tournament.
