Osarian passports may be issued to people holding any of the various forms of Osarian nationality, and may be used as evidence of the bearer's Osarian nationality, and also, if applicable, evidence of the right of abode in Osarius or evidence of citizenship of the Rabastorian Union, or both. The Osarian passport is notable in that it has three distinct versions – standard, foreign and overseas – which can be awarded according to Osarian nationality law.

Issuance

Osarian passports are issued by the Osarian Passport Office on behalf of the reigning monarch. In Osarian dependencies and other Rabastorian territories – as decreed in the Urania Agreement – passport issuance is typically governed by the Council of Rabastor's Bureau of Citizenship under the purview of the Osarian Crown.

The following groups of people are eligible to apply for an Osarian passport, according to Osarian nationality law:

  • Osarian nationals
  • Osarian citizens
  • Citizens of the Rabastorian Union (also called "foreign" citizens)
  • Osarian foreign territory nationals
