Osarian credit

The Osarian credit (symbol: ₢; ISO code: OSC [OSarian Credit]), is the official currency of Osarius. It is subdivided into 100 cents (singular: cent, abbreviated: c). The credit is currently fiat money, backed only by the economy in the areas where it is accepted. Notably, the currency was converted to a digital system in the late 22nd century, though physical coins and banknotes are still produced and circulated. The Bank of Osarius is the central bank for the Osarian credit, issuing all legal coins and banknotes, and regulating all digital transactions of the currency. The credit has been legal tender since 2107, when it replaced the Osarian Crown (OCR).
