TemplateData for Infobox treaty

Provides a consistent layout for summary information about treaties and international agreements, to appear at the top right of article pages.

Template parameters

Parameter		Description	Type	Status
Name	name	Short name of the treaty. Default The article name	Line	required
Long name	long_name	The official long name of the treaty.	String	optional
Image	image	Filename for an image to represent the treaty (without the “File:” prefix).	Page name	optional
Image size	image_size image_width	Image width for “image”, eg “200px”. Default frameless	Line	optional
Image alternative text	image_alt alt	Accessible alternative text for “image”.	String	optional
Image border	border	Border for “image”. “yes” if a border should be applied to the image. Default no	String	optional
Image caption	caption	Caption, either for “image” or for “rep”. If both parameters are supplied, the caption will appear twice.	Line	optional
Treaty type	type	Type of the treaty.	Content	optional
Treaty context	context	Historical context for the treaty.	Content	optional
Date drafted	date_drafted	The date the treaty was drafted.	Line	optional
Date signed	date_signed	The date the treaty was signed. Use the template “Start date” to provide this information.	Line	optional
Location signed	location_signed	The location where the treaty was signed. This should usually include wikilinks.	Line	optional
Date sealed	date_sealed	The date the treaty was sealed.	Line	optional
Date effective	date_effective	The date the treaty came into effect.	Line	optional
Condition effective	condition_effective	The conditions under which the treaty came into effect. Example Ratification by three signatories.	Line	optional
Date expired	date_expiry date_expiration	The date the treaty expired. Use the template “End date” to provide this information.	Line	optional
Mediators	mediators	The people or countries who helped mediate the treaty. This should be formatted as a bullet list; flag icons might also be appropriate.	Content	optional
